It is that time of year again, here come the flies.  They will be everywhere soon, especially around the farm.  I recently read about a safe way to keep flies away, a bag of water and a penny!  After doing some searching I’ve found sites that say it works and sites that say it doesn’t…  Go figure, it is the Internet!

It does seem that the method requires natural light or sun light to work.  We will see, once we try it I’ll report back and let everyone know if it seems to make a difference.

Oh, the method, fill a zip lock bag half full with water, add a single penny and hang it in the area you want free of flies.  Seems to easy but time will tell.
